Asking a question in French where the answer is going to be yes or no, is fairly easy. We have 3 different ways to ask a yes-no question in French:
1. Raise your voice at the end of the sentence - this is the most casual way to ask a question
2. Add "est-ce que" in front of the subject
3. Use what we call the "inversion", where we place the verb first, followed by the subject. Both elements being connected by a hyphen.
