You have not eaten until you have eaten at Randazzo's Clam Bar in the Sheepshead Bay section of Brooklyn. It's the most famous place to get clams in New York. "What you really want to get is the fried calamari with sauce. Nobody makes it like they do here. Their menu is vast and each item is better than the next; right down to their mozzarella sticks which I often got as a side item when I worked next door at Macy's Backstage.
What separates them from so many places is that they are still family owned and operated. There's nothing like the pride and quality of a family owned business.
They are nestled right along the waterfront do after one of the best meals or snacks you'll ever have, you can stroll along and watch the fishing boats come in or see the swans gracefully paddle along he bay.
