Hey guys,

In today’s video I’m building on two videos I made a few months ago. I talked about how Apple is slowing down their older phones that have degrading batteries ([ Ссылка ]) & how to replace an iPhone 6/6 Plus battery ([ Ссылка ]).
So in this video I am going to be replacing the battery on my iPhone 6 Plus, because it’s gotten really horrendous and doesn’t hold a full charge for more than 3 hours.

So I ran 3 tests before and after the battery swap to see just how much the battery performance was affecting the phone performance. I was definitely shocked and surprised by the results.

The 3 tests I ran were:

Geekbench (CPU)

Antutu (Graphics)

iMovie Export

In the end I’m really satisfied with how much life a new battery has given this 3 year old iPhone 6 Plus, and I would definitely recommend anyone with a phone older than 1-2 years to have their batteries checked out and replaced!
