Sometimes its hard to visualise just how a Syntropic Food Forest evolves over time, so heres a compilation of photos and footage of the installation, planting and growth over two years, in appreciation of the power of nature's drive for regeneration when we work alongside her!
On the 26th 2020 of October we planted this Syntropic Food Forest with community and family eager to learn and part take in transforming a piece of land over grown with kikuyu into an oasis of forest and food.
Ngā mihi nui, a big thanks to the whānau at Ngāratunua for being so open to this concept and for aiding this food forest to thrive with the many hands that came to help plant it. And also thank you to the beautiful voices of the kapa haka crew practicing across the road at Te Paea Marae on the morning of filming some of this footage.
