Our presenter, Dr. Heather Ross, is a Nurse Practitioner, Professor, and Scientist who unites science, technology, and caring to make people’s lives better. She is running for U.S. Congress to bring her real-world experience and work ethic to the House of Representatives to heal our broken government and build a positive future for Arizona and America.
Now as a professor at ASU, Heather directs a graduate program in professional ethics, hosts the Future Out Loud podcast, and mentors students to develop as leaders, advocates, and changemakers for their patients and communities.
As a research scientist in ASU’s Global Security Initiative, she works closely with researchers from across the university to develop efficient and effective wearable technology to improve people’s lives and national security.
As an advocate and volunteer leader for healthcare organizations in cardiology and nursing, Heather’s work has focused on helping people navigate America’s complicated healthcare system and efforts to achieve healthcare reform.
