This is one of the most beautiful and lyrical books in our home library. It was published last year and has already won the love of parents and children with its delicate pencil drawings and thoughtful poetic text.
Dense slightly rough cream paper, golden letters on the cover, a lot of green crowns, shady glades and sunlight — all this instantly takes us into the atmosphere of a mysterious forest, where we can retire and communicate with nature.
The author of the book, Emma Carlisle, writes in the afterword: "I hope this book will inspire you to take a closer look at the trees — from your bedroom window, in the local park or on the way to school. Who knows what else you might notice?
A butterfly on the last summer flower, a flock of geese flying overhead, or small twigs of grass making their way between the sidewalks... Nature is all around you."
