Keep losing really solid runs when wolves get the drop on you?

Here are a couple techniques that work on settings turned up beyond Interloper (NOGOA)

There's one more technique that isn't pointed out specifically, but you can see in the last struggle. If the wind is too intense for a torch, then keep your flare pistol equipped! We almost got it out in time to prevent that struggle. If we'd been traveling with it equipped, we could have avoided all three of these struggles (all occurring in and around the torch-snuffing, shifting winds of NOGOA) at the cost of a flare shell.
