Paul Robeson Tomato and Pippin Golden Honey Pepper for black history month. I am excited to have these heirloom seeds growing in the Fitzgerald's Garden of Goodies. They both are 80 to 85 days till harvest. The tomatoes of course are heavy feeders. Horace Pippin of West Chester Pa had painful war wounds. He traded his seeds for bee stings that helped ease the pain of the war wounds. The beekeeper named the seed after Pippin. These golden honey peppers are sweet. Horrace Pippin passed away on July 6, 1946. Paul Robeson was a black activist that fought for equal rights. He was an athlete and an international opera singer with a rich baritone voice. Named for the smokey rich flavor this tomato was named after him from a mother and daughter team from Russia. ORDER YOUR SEEDS TODAY and add black history to your garden as well.
