Risten-Lakvik Heritage Railway is a narrow gauge (600 mm) museum railway since 1971, The track is 1.5 kilometer long .
In this film you see the traintrip from Lakvik to Risten and back. After a short intermezzo with images from rolling stock you can see several shunting at the station of Lakvik with a steamlocomotive. Thanks fot watching.
You find this railway museum around road 35 from Linköping to Advidaberg between the little villages Mulstad and Missmyra. The original railway was a part of the 1878 opened railway line Norsholm - Bersbo, linked to the railway line Norsholm-Västervik-Hultsfred. The line Norsholm - Bersbo was closed down in 1964. The rolling stock is from both lines and industrial courses and includes two steam locomotives, two compressed air engines, various diesel locomotives, as well as two of the oldest coaches of the former lines.
