‘Mahotsav Purna Purush Ka’ – ‘Celebrating a Complete Personality’ was the exhilarating and entertaining nightly light and sound show that captivated the hearts of all visitors to the month-long Pramukh Swami Maharaj Shatabdi Mahotsav.
It captured the essence of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s selfless life lived ‘In the joy of others’. Pramukh Swami Maharaj had a unique capacity to assess the needs of individuals, families and society, and provide appropriate support and solutions for their problems. Performed by a troupe of 300 BAPS teenagers and youths, this engaging, energetic and enlightening presentation celebrates three aspects of Pramukh Swami Maharaj’s work to uplift humanity: his timely assistance to the victims of the Bhuj earthquake, his practical proposal to conduct a regular ‘ghar sabha’ (family assembly) that enabled innumerable families to live harmoniously, and his tireless crusade to wean individuals from addictions and save them from dire consequences.
This outstanding show, featuring delightful dances, colourful costumes, meaningful messages and vibrant visuals, summarized the most salient values depicted throughout the Pramukh Swami Maharaj Centenary Celebrations festival site and was viewed by over 2.8 million people.
