Over the road next to the Transport Museum in Coventry, near the University, is the Whittle Arch, which is suggestive of the condensation trails left in the sky by jet planes. Frank Whittle invented the turbojet engine and there is a staute of him in front of the Transport Museum. There is also a video in my collection here at YouTube of the Whittle monument at Lutterworth and one of the small building there where Whittle developed his jet engine.
