Cham island, only 25 minutes by boat from Hoi An, but only a fraction of this hotspot's tourism manages to reach this hidden gem. On our tour through Vietnam, we ended up on this beautiful island and immediately fell in love.

It has beautiful beaches, colorful corals to dive or snorkel and winding coastal roads to explore by motorbike. But more importantly for us, it is extremely authentic. Here you can see the men going out to sea with their fishing boats in the afternoon and the women selling the fresh catch in the morning. You see the children being taken to school on the scooters in the morning to see them playing at the pier in the afternoon. The locals kick a ball on the soccer field and above all, life takes place on the streets. Wonderful to see this.

We stayed at homestay Gia Thanh in Tan Hiep, it’s a lovely place. Thanks for taking good care of us! With our family with two kids (2 and 4 years) we had a wonderful time, they took fantastic care of us.
