Here is a look inside of what it's like being a car salesman for an 8-12 hour day condensed into 5 minutes. After the hurricane had hit southwest florida a lot of residents are out of vehicles and we have been super busy. I have been selling cars for a little over 2 years now and found success in this industry. Although it has its ups and downs I am fortunate for what I have been able to do and the amount of people I have helped. This video is quick paced and it's tough to record everything and give a full break down so here it is for those who like to read!
At a dealership you usually start with a morning meeting where they discuss sales and things going on. Next you will usually walk the lots and check on trade ins from the night before and new inventory arriving. Then you will begin making phone calls or if you do floor sales you will wait outside for "ups" which are walk in customers. You will go throughout the day managing customers and utilizing your CRM to help keep track of everything you have. Every dealership does things a little differently but for the most part their structure and road to the sale are the same. Car salesman do not really have a schedule within their hours of operation so it's up to you when you want to take a break or lunch.
If you made it this far thanks for watching and if you are in need of a vehicle due to the hurricane or just looking to upgrade I am located in Fort Myers at a Ford dealer. Comment below :)
