लोकसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण में शुक्रवार 26 अप्रैल को 13 राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों की 88 सीटों पर मतदान हुए...दूसरे चरण में महज 68.04 प्रतिशत मतदान हुआ है, जबकि 2019 में इन्हीं सीटों पर 70 फीसदी से ज्यादा लोगों ने बढ़-चढ़कर वोट किया था. उत्तर प्रदेश की 8 सीटों पर दूसरे चरण में मतदान हुआ, इस दौरान वोटिंग प्रतिशत 54.9 रहा. जो कि साल 2019 के चुनाव के मुकाबले कम है.
