Tao Silalahi is part of Lake Toba. One of the most famous natural tourist destinations in Indonesia.

It is located in the Silalahisabungan District in the Dairi Regency, North Sumatra. Tao Silalahi is also part of the Toba Caldera which has been designated as one of the UNESCO Global Geoparks.

In Silalahisabungan there is a certain cultural heritage that has been passed down from generation to generation, namely Ulos: Woven cloth typical of Batak culture and crafts. Historically, the ulos was used as a shawl to warm the body.
