Jarrod is part of a select group of students who are part of Construction Training Fund's (CTF's) Pre-Apprenticeship Scholarship Program. He is currently studying his Certificate II in Para Professional. Jarrod is excited to go straight into the workforce after finishing high school. CTF is proud to be supporting students like Jarrod who are finding their place as workers in the construction industry. CTF provides students and older people alike the opportunity to get qualified and find work within the construction industry.
CTF's Pre-Apprenticeship Scholarship Program has around 200 spots available per year, as it is a competitive application process. While most pre-apprenticeships are programs that run for 10 weeks, the CTF pre-apprenticeship programs can run for up to 2 years, providing maximum support and career training opportunities. Students participating in a pre-apprenticeship program will have to complete both theoretical and practical assessments. The program is conducted at the location of a registered training organisation.
