It's final inspection time for Flower Mound Fire Department​'s new Engine 502, a Type 3 wildland pumper built on a 4-door International chassis. This truck is uniquely designed to protect Flower Mound's undeveloped areas, while maintaining the traditional response and purposes of a fire engine. Its compact design enables easier maneuverably through tighter streets and driveways. Engine 502 will soon head home to north Texas and join the department's recently delivered Engine 501, a Pierce Velocity PUC pumper with the new red/black paint scheme!
