On this hike I venture through the woods in the Alafia River Corridor located near Lithia, Florida. It is a beautiful area to enjoy nature and learn about some history as well. In this area there was a lot of phosphate mining and many old quarries could be observed on this adventure. Most of them are filled in with water and very scenic to experience today. The trails are very hilly due to do all the diggings from the past, most of the trails lead along the edges of the old mining pits. Enjoy the adventure and thank you for watching!
