The Lok Sabha which is generally very quiet and attentive when Home Minister Amit Shah speaks about internal security matters, burst into laughter today. This when the Home Minister lightened the mood with his witty reply while tabling the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill. Amit Shah said that he has a manufacturing defect when one of the MPs pointed out that he was always in a mood to scold. Amit Shah said that he only gets angry when there is a discussion on the Kashmir issue. Meanwhile, The Lok Sabha passed the Criminal Procedure (Identification) Bill by voice vote. The bill replaces the Identification of Prisoners Act, 1920. Amit Shah while tabling the bill had said it would ensure that police and investigators remain two steps ahead of criminals.
