Katie Nobles:
And you're watching the bottom line.
Katie Nobles:
Today's topic asking questions during your hearing.
Katie Nobles:
So Michael, break this one down for us. We're doing telephone hearings a lot right now. So there can be some misunderstandings happening in there. Yeah. Yeah.
Michael Liner:
And you know, because of the technology that we're having to use to do hearings there's oftentimes when lines are a little bit broken up that the hearing audio is garbled. So if you're in your disability hearing and I find myself asking judges to repeat the questions that they're asking, or my clients even repeat their answer sometimes, but if you're the client and you're not sure what you're being asked, don't guess at it, stop ask the question to be repeated to either your attorney or the judge, let it be repeated. Even if it's just that you don't understand the question, there's no shame in that. There's no harm in it so that you know, that you're responding to the right question. And then let everything proceed forward. It's so important because you don't want to give inaccurate testimony cause you heard something wrong. You know, this is your shot. You've been waiting a long time for this day. So make sure it's done right.
Katie Nobles:
We want those answers to be clear, concise, correct. And to the point.
Michael Liner:
Absolutely.
Michael Liner:
Absolutely. And I think we've, we've talked about that in our other hearing tips, but it's so true.
Katie Nobles:
That's right. And if you guys are looking for more hearing tips, you can find all of that information on our YouTube channel. And also of course on our website that is LinerLegal.com.
