An enforcement operation of the EDSA bus lane, an exclusive lane that was created as part of the plan to improve, modernize and prioritize public transport.
Aside from solving many issues on EDSA, this exclusive bus lane proved that it’s possible to move hundreds of thousands of commuters, while only occupying a single lane.
This enforcement operation from the Special Action and Intelligence Committee for Transportation, under DOTr, took place on January 15, 2024.
