There are a number of options available when it comes to selecting a rainwater harvesting solution. For example, do you prefer an above or below ground tank? In general most domestic applications, where space and aesthetics are a concern, below ground storage offers a neat solution. However, most domestic rainwater harvesting systems are not commercially viable, they are installed either because it is a planning condition or the owner likes the green credentials of doing so.
In an industrial or agricultural situation, the harvested volumes are much much greater and space is not such an issue. To store large volumes of water underground is very expensive and detracts from what you are trying to achieve. In these cases, we will aim to store the main volume of harvested roof water above ground. We can also offer premium systems that actually combine both underground and above ground in a ratio of around 1:300.
