As a fan of both H3H3 and Sam Hyde, I've occasionally noticed people talking about some kind of beef between them in comment sections and on reddit. However, a search of YouTube videos on the topic doesn't yield a lot of information on the subject.
As it turns out, the beef stems from videos created by H3H3 that were clearly heavily inspired by Sam Hyde's work. Although Ethan states that he made these videos as a tribute to Sam Hyde, Hyde claims that it's a blatant ripoff and that H3H3 only ever made the "tribute" claim after he called them on it.
However, a few years and a few reddit arguments later, it seems like there could be a possibility of them making amends.
