This is a little demonstration of the Ariens Rapid Track Professional 28". Unfortunately, it's been a while since we had a big dump, so instead, I'm going to demo for you a light accumulation to show you how this thing moves around!

You'll see me going around the driveway quickly just so you can see how maneuverable this lil' monster is! It senses turns and automatically slows down the inside track so you can turn on a dime easily--it's like having a transmission for turning.

My wife who is 5'2" can maneuver this around, it's actually entertaining to watch because the machine is so big. On a scale of 1-10 for ease of use, she gives this an "8" (because she is not overly tall). For overall satisfaction, she gives it a 10 (trust me, I did not lead the witness on that :P ) because she can control it, even for her small size.

Also notice when I go forward and backwards with the machine. The hydrostatic transmission allows you to go forward and backwards w/out taking the lever out of the notch and is incredibly helpful, and fast, especially if you need to back up or slow down. My other thrower had specific speeds, and each time you wanted to speed up or down, you had to take it out of the notch...not this!

Because we had about an inch of new snow, I will go on the lawn where there is probably 6" of snow or so. Believe me, it'll remove 6" as easily as it'll remove 12", this thing is a monster!

I'll also go over some of the basic controls, including startup, which is incredibly easy.

Overall, I have no complaints with this machine. The only slight thing is when you aren't moving a lot of snow, it can get a tad squirrelly, as sometimes it thinks it's in a turn when it's not. Not a huge deal, so for that, I give it only 9 out of 10 for overall satisfaction. For ease of use, I also give it a 9 out of 10. I really love this machine.
