Resistor Wattage means two things.
• The physical size of a resistor tells you number of watts it is capable of dissipating.
• This is called RESISTOR WATTAGE.
• It is really RESISTOR-SIZE or RESISTOR CAPABILITY.
• The multiplication of the voltage across a resistor and the current flowing though it will produce a value called WATTAGE.
