WEST END, Ohio (WKRC) - Cincinnati Police have arrested a suspect in West End homicide six months after the crime. Cormon Harriell, 22 is charged with murder.
Police believe Harriell shot and killed Judson Roper, 26, at Findlay and Linn streets on April 26. Police haven't released a motive.
Harriell was already in jail. He was arrested for a probation violation for heroin possession. Then, police say he tried to escape from the River City Correctional Facility on Colerain Avenue in August.
According to court papers, he left the dorm area through an unlocked door and went into a recreational area. There, he scaled a fence and was found in a service area.
