Khao Tom / Khao Tom Moo is a Go-To Breakfast in Thai. This is a super easy Traditional Thai Porridge With Minced Pork recipe that taste exactly like how i had it back in Thailand. I genuinely hope you give this recipe a go.

Recipe:
Cooked rice - 700 g
Minced pork - 400 g
Minced garlic - 130 g
Sliced coriander and spring onion - 30 g
Vegetable oil - your preference
Plain water - 1 - 1.3 litre
*seasoning ingredients*
Oyster sauce - 3 tbsp
Grounded black pepper - 1 teaspoon
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Chicken stock powder - 1 teaspoon ( optional )
Sugar - 1 teaspoon
Soy sauce - 3 tbsp
- How To -
Fry your minced garlic. Take them out earlier as they will darken their color further when they’re out of the heat.
With the same oil and some remaining garlic ( you may remove oil if there’s too much ) on high heat, stir fry minced pork.
Add all seasoning ingredients when the pork is done. Mix well and set aside.
Bring a pot of water to a boil.
Add in cooked rice. Bring back to a boil.
Add in cooked pork. Stir.
Add in half of coriander and spring onion. Save another half for garnish.
Taste test and adjust accordingly.
Sprinkle in crunchy fried garlic, more pepper, follow your heart.
Ready to be served.
