The National Hurricane Center continues to keep a close watch on a tropical disturbance in the Gulf of Mexico that could become the Atlantic hurricane season's first named storm.
However, it's not the only area worth watching: Tropical development is low but remains possible later this week off the southeastern U.S. and Florida coast.
