Sekiro Shadows Die Twice - All Prayer Bead Locations Guide (Vitality & Posture Upgrades)

There are a total of 40 Prayer Beads in Sekiro Shadows Die Twice. Prayer Beads are items that can be combined into Prayer Necklaces, which give you increases to your total Posture and Vitality meters. You need 4 Prayer Beads to make a Prayer Necklace.

Most of the Prayer Beads Drop from bosses, but some can be found in the open world as well. Collecting all 40 will unlock the "Peak Physical Strength" trophy / achievement.

Two of the Prayer Beads are missable! The rest are not. The two missable ones are the two that you can find in "Purification" ending. There is no other way to access the two mini bosses in that ending without making a start on the ending for Purification.

The rest of the Prayer Beads are not missable. Ashina castle changes a lot as you play, and bosses come and go. If a bosses happens to leave because you advanced too far them that Prayer Bead will go to the offerings box in the Dilapidated Temple for you to purchase with sen.

NOTE: Some of the Prayer Beads I pick up in this video are the bundled statues. In your game they will be Prayer Beads, in mine they are this as I'm playing in NG+ and already picked them up in a prior playthrough.
