Idea of North presents a series of projects that play with the convention of the ‘expo’ event. Pavilions, architectural constructions and guest-curated displays celebrate the enduring resilience and transforming spirit of a northern identity through architecture, photography, music and design.

A geodesic dome on Level 4 of BALTIC houses an exhibition by guest curators MaterialDriven. This project looks towards innovation in design, experiments with new materials and sustainable futures.
