On December 14, 2019, Farhang Foundation celebrated the 7th Annual Shab-e Yalda (winter solstice) at UCLA's Schoenberg Hall, featuring the one and only Gordafarid (storytelling and poetry reading) and featuring a musical and dance journey throughout Iran with the Kooban Ensemble under the direction of Vandad Massahzadeh and the Melieka Fathi Dance Company.
