This tune was written by Frank Loesser for the stage musical Guys & Dolls, which was later turned into a film starring Marlon Brando and Frank Sinatra. Although Brando sung the song in the show, perhaps the most famous version of the song was the one recorded by Frank Sinatra. The arrangement was written by Billy May and was quite a bit slower than previous versions of the song, really giving the orchestra and vocalist a chance to swing.
