Train crossing huge railroad trestle. This is a street running railroad trestle that goes down the middle of 6th Street. This train is in Parkersburg, West Virginia on Belpre Industrial Parkersburg Railroad ( BIP ) . Baltimore And Ohio Railroad built this trestle in 1871. It crosses the Ohio River from Belpre, Ohio into Parkersburg, West Virginia. When built, this was the worlds longest railroad bridge at over 7,000 feet. The approaches were changed and today it is 4,400 feet long. I filmed the train coming off the trestle that runs right down the middle of Sixth Street and into High Yard. This train was returning from switching Globe at Relief, Ohio. It is also seen in the video crossing an interesting railroad bridge near Waterford, Ohio. A private driveway goes under that bridge to an excellent railfan home that sits on the hill overlooking the track. BIP is a new railroad company that took over this track from CSX on May 4, 2020. All four of BIPs locomotives are EMD GP38-3. They have 48 route miles of track and trains operate on 160.680 and 160.260. They have 3 turns that operate the line and this is Job 1 in the video.
