This video looks at the different phases of a Business Cycle, and discusses what happens in the economy during each stage.

The business cycle relates to periods of fluctuating economic growth, with an economy going through periods of strong economic growth i.e. expansion, during Recovery and Peak periods; and faltering economic growth i.e. contraction during Recession and Trough periods. This cycle of economic expansion and contraction is called the ‘business cycle’.
