BONUS TIP 🔥👇
If you boost a post on Instagram or Facebook that is 4:5 vertical format, it will still show to people as 4:5. But if you put a 4:5 image into Ads Manager, it will only show the interior 1:1 of the image; so this is a unique advantage to be able to 'boost posts' with larger images.

ALSO to be clear, when I say 'Boost a Post' I'm referring to both on Facebook and Instagram as well as the same thing as what has often been called 'Promoting a Post'.
When I say 'Facebook Ads Manager', I'm also referring to running paid ads on Instagram. When you setup ads on Facebook Ads Manager you have the option to run ads on Facebook, Instagram, or both.
