Here we see an aerodynamic simulation of the Honda RA108.
This car has a unique front wing, which scopes up the air, creating ton of downforce as see.
The forces on the wheels are quite wrong in the current state of simulations I run because, I do not rotate the wheels. As the wheels rotate the flow around them drastically change, thus changing the forces acting on the tire.
This is the reason why I currently do not put up any stats such as drag coefficient, down force etc. in the videos. (Because they would be utterl wrong.)
I hope to improve these simulations further to include wheel rotating some way or the other, as well as make all inlet/outlets on the car work.
I use #snappyhexmesh for the meshing and #openfoam for the simulation.
