Even the real-life pro drivers fail sometimes. And that proves that the real cars can spin quite easily. The trick is to steer, pull the handbrake enough so that the car's rear axle steps out _a bit,_ and then you control the oversteer with careful throttle application. You should prefer to fall short and understeer thus having to pull the handbrake again, than to oversteer massively, spin, and lose batshit amounts of time. If you still have trouble, play with the setup of the car. Perhaps you need to tune your suspensions or open the rear differential more than the front one. I don't know, setups require big brains.
