Ukraine's prospects of making any kind of impression on home soil surely require a win over Sweden in Kiev on Monday. Their preparations haven't exactly been ideal... no less than three goalkeepers have been ruled out of Oleg Blokhin's squad, and relying on the fading powers of 35-year-old Andriy Shevchenko may be wishful thinking for the home fans.
The Swedes will fancy their chances of putting the pressure on France and England with an opening success, and they possess one of the undoubted big personalities of the tournament. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has never really delivered on the big stage for his country, and this may be his last chance. It's the kind of situation that suits him.
