In this video I create a Zorn palette grid using acrylic paint. The paints I used are Yellow Oxide, Cadmium Red Light, Ivory Black and Titanium White. The Zorn palette is a limited palette named for Swedish artist Anders Zorn (1860-1920). I'll demonstrate how to produce a beautiful and harmonious color palette with a wide variety of earthy hues and tones, by mixing just these 4 base colors. It was a fun and informative exercise and I think it's very beneficial to any artist to explore these color combinations.
