April 6 is National Tartan Day in North America. It is a celebration of Scottish heritage. The Declaration of Arbroath was signed on this day in 1320. This declaration asserted the antiquity of independence of the Kingdom of Scotland denouncing English attempts to subjugate it.
After our trip to Scotland I (Mrs. Karnes) have fallen in love with this country of my ancestors and wanted to take another opportunity to share a glimpse of our trip.
