Shakshuka with Chorizo hot dogs
Ingredients
10 Tamar Tomatoes (or any other tomato in the house)
2 tablespoons of tomato paste
4 large onions
Garlic cloves in advance garlic whole
Half a teaspoon of hot paprika
1 teaspoon sweet paprika
1 teaspoon replete with cumin
1 + 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup boiling water
10 large hot dogs or as a number of diners (2 per diner)
5 eggs
One-third cup of oil
Instructions
Cut 4 large onions into small cubes and set aside. Scrape 10 tomatoes in rough grater and set aside. Slice whole garlic cloves in advance and set aside. Wide on a medium flame heat a third of a cup of oil. When the oil is hot add 4 cubes of onions and fry until the onion becomes translucent and slightly golden. Add the garlic cloves, stir and fry for 2 minutes. After 2 minutes, add one teaspoon of salt, one teaspoon of sweet paprika, one teaspoon of hot paprika, one quarter teaspoon of black pepper, one teaspoon of cumin, half a teaspoon of chili pepper and mix well. Add 10 grated tomatoes, stir and wait to boil. After boiling, add 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, stir, add half a cup of boiling water, stir, wait to boil, lower flame, close lid and cook for 1 hour. (Stir occasionally) After an hour, put the sausage in a saucepan, close the lid and cook for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes add 5 eggs, close lid and turn flame off when eggs are ripe. This happens about 20 minutes later.
