Jackfruit payasam is a delicacy from the Kerala cuisine prepared during the Onam festival. It has very few but rich ingredients such as ghee, coconut milk & jaggery, making the payasam super delicious. This excellent recipe presented here was given to me by my dear friend Ashaa’s mom, one of my favourite cooks. The recipe is easy and quick to make.
