In this episode we're exploring an abandoned Jewish dominant resort in the Catskill Mountain Range- The Brown's Hotel. This location was a widespread popular tourist destination in New York State, and was well known for having venues filled with big name individuals such as Bob Hope, Tony Bennett, Sammy Davis Jr, and Jerry Lewis. Not to mention the Brown's included a top notch, staggering golf course that attracted high level players and tournaments. In 2012, the complex was being used for modern-day condominiums, when the boiler room caught fire and a catastrophic fire broke out. The families who owned the Brown's would lose everything, and the resort has sat for over twelve years in an increasingly crumbling and decaying state. Let's explore!
