Following on from the Arduino / Drone noise thing, I've got the Midi in working, and it makes for a basic mono FM like Synth. ADR implemented, along with LFO / MOD and various wavetables. More pots left to make it do things with :)
All the code, PCB design and schematics freely available - hoping that others can improve on it!
