Three people were killed and hundreds injured on Monday (26/2) during violence on the third day of a strike called by opposition political parties in Bangladesh. Two policemen were critically hurt. The general strike has shut shops, banks, schools and industries. Police and activists clashed at a railway station in Dhaka, the capital.
