British Airways have announced that they are proposing to remove the Boeing 747 from their fleet with immediate effect ([ Ссылка ]), following on from Virgin Atlantic's decision to do the same earlier in the year. In this video I take a look back at my own memories of seeing and indeed flying on the British Airways Boeing 747, affectionately known as The Queen of the Skies.
I've had the pleasure of spending many hours on board the British Airways fleet of Boeing 747s, videos of which can be found on my channel, and I've also enjoyed watching them arrive and depart London Heathrow Airport over the years. I've also had the chance to get up close and personal at 2 British Airways Open Days, for which I will be eternally grateful. These aircraft really will be missed from our skies!
