Kampala’s Resident City Commissioner Aisha Kabanda has dismissed a court order issued to the ParkYard market traders to vacate so that investors can redevelop it. Kabanda, who was meeting the traders at Park Yard Market, which is next to St. Balikuddembe market, told them that she is not aware of any court order that went through her office.
She also assured the traders that no investor will be allowed to demolish the market without the knowledge of her office.
