obviously, I love using shadows in my portrait and boudoir photography. A couple if the reasons i use shadow: 1: Depending on the story that im trying to tell with a particular portrait, shadow can make the piece feel more dramatic. However, if i was aiming at a lighter emotional feel, i may not lean on shadows. I also use shadow a lot in my boudoir work. Its a wonder way to add depth and dinension as well as showing musculature.
