Around 15% of the world’s population, or approximately 1 billion people, live with disabilities. Rehabilitation robots are assisting humans in recovering from physical impairments caused by injury or illness, helping them to restore their mobility and perform daily activities with greater ease.
These robotic devices use AI to guide and monitor patients’ movements and provide accurate diagnoses, helping therapists tailor treatment plans to each patient’s unique needs, resulting in better health outcomes and faster recovery times.
In this AI for Good webinar, learn how robots are assisting humans in overcoming mobility challenges, improving their strength, coordination, and endurance for a healthier and more independent living. We have less than 10 years to solve the UN SDGs and AI holds great promise to advance many of the sustainable development goals and targets.
More than a Summit, more than a movement, AI for Good is presented as a year round digital platform where AI innovators and problem owners learn, build and connect to help identify practical AI solutions to advance the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
AI for Good is organized by ITU in partnership with 40 UN Sister Agencies and co-convened with Switzerland.
