Byung-Chul Han is a German philosopher of South Korean descent whose writing spans across the topics of ethics, social philosophy, phenomenology, cultural theory, aesthetics, religion, media theory, and intercultural philosophy. He is the author of the heavy-hitting but very short and digestible books "The Disappearance of Rituals", "In The Swarm", "The Topology of Violence", "The Burnout Society", and more.
